Hello Tahoe Pine Works Customers & Friends;
We are almost at Christmas and the snow is pretty much next to nothing around Lake Tahoe, Heavenly Ski Resort is planning to open on November 17th and that is something we do not think is going to take place. However the upside of things is we are taking advantage of the nice weather by making tons of new things out of our wood and we have included some great things on the metal side of things as well.
Since we are close to Christmas, We will still be able to get your items out in our time frame of 10 days (well maybe we should add a day or two to that! As we are getting pretty busy making things for Santa this time of year) So now would be a good time if you are planning to shop Tahoe Pine Works for Christmas gifts. As I am sure most of you know (and we have said this in the past) that FedEx , UPS , and the Post Office are starting to get into the Christmas rush!!!!! So with that said, it is going to take them some time to get your packages to you. This year (like last) we will use the first company (fedex, ups, USPS) that gets to my location first. We will not charge anything extra in shipping, We would just like to get your packages out fast and to your door. Now lets talk about what we are doing for November...
We have added a new poll to the Tahoe Pine Works site. This poll question "What will you put on top of your Christmas tree this year?" (click to take our poll) is being asked because I am already in the plans for next Christmas and am thinking of making some tree toppers. Our last poll of "Who would you most want to redecorated your home?" was a lot of fun and we had some great success with that one! It looks as if The Extreme Make Over Team has won that poll (we voted for them as well) below is the results from the last poll.
1. 43.1 % Voted for The Extreme Make Over Team.
2. 18.9 % Voted for The Queer Eye Guys.
3. 15.5 % Voted for Martha Stewart.
4. 19.7 % Voted for The Trading Spaces Team.
5. 8.6 % Voted for Nate Berkus from Oprah.
How about some new product as well? We have added Door Knob Backing Plates to the site.
These plates can be cut in any of the wildlife themes that you see on our site. Designed to be installed between the decorative knob cover and the door, and can be installed on both sides of your door. Made from thin .040" thick steel and will fit almost any home use knobs or deadbolts. Approximately 3 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches high depending on figure design. For more information about these plates (click here) we will also be adding some cabinet hardware to the site very soon.
We have also added a new program to the site in the form of coupon codes that we will be giving out to customers that phone in orders. So when you are talking to us! Don't forget to ask about the coupon codes (well you really don't have to ask! As we like giving out this number).
